Project DVOR nominated for the 2015 European Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies Van der Rohe Award

DVOR, a residential and business building of modern architecture, reached one of the most prestigious nominations in Europe - The 2015 European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies Van der Rohe Award. The prize is awarded biennially to works that have been completed in the past two years, and is one of the most prestigious and important awards for European architecture. It was initiated by European Commission and the Barcelona City Hall in 1987, and ever since it recognizes and commends excellence and draws attention to important contributes in housing, cultural facilities, education, offices and sport, governmental, transport, commercial and urban projects.

TIn 2015, there were 420 nominated projects from 36 countries, and DVOR is one of three from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Shortlisted 40 will be visited by the jury members in order to experience their advantages and get information from the people who use these projects. The final winners will be announced on May 8th at the Pavilion "Mies Van der Rohe" in Barcelona.
